Very sad story, but foster parents are amazing and deserve a medal. I hope the biological Dad has a good reason for his actions. In the end the State cannot replace family, but the State should support families with complex special needs.

Sadly here in California all the day programs for DD are full especially job programs like goodwill. We have to sit at home doing nothing and the behavior programs only take kids not adults. The excuse is budget cuts I know how she feels. Also the TA who work for the school lack special ed training and CD training for in general. All the while the main people in charge of regional centers the name our local DD services make 200.000 a year a Lot of money.
