Excellent post. I am incredibly thankful to have my son in a wonderful 1:1 ABA program. It is making a huge difference for him. Stories like Carly's really give me hope that we will be able to communicate with Jack more effectively someday.
Thank you judith. ABA has also been of great benefit to my son Conor. I think it is important for parents who have seen the benefits of ABA for their autistic children to tell their stories.
There are too many falsehoods spread about ABA by people with little actual involvement with ABA who are ideologically opposed to ANY treatment for autism.
