Neurodiversity Hate Video Extremism

Much of the autism advocacy in the past 10-20 years has been led by parents seeking to treat and cure their own autistic children, either by ABA therapy or by seeking cures. Parent advocates have come under attack from some high functioning autistic persons who have formed a loose coalition of bloggers who oppose the right of other peoples' autistic children to be treated or cured for their autistic disorders.

Most of the Neurodiversity commentary has been civil. Some has been silly, snide and sarcastic. Now some extremist ND bloggers are confessing their hatred of parent autism advocates openly on the internet as shown in this Christschool video promoted on Autism Street.

It will be interesting to see if ASAN and Neurodiversity leaders like Ari Ne'eman, Dora Raymaker and Kristina Chew, and Change.org, distance themselves from this hate video. Chew and Ne'eman once complained about offensive imagery about autistics. Will they now drink deep from the well of hypocrisy and embrace this blatant hate video message?

In the video CS literally demonizes autism (parent) advocates seeking to cure their own children. This video constitutes hate propaganda, contrary to the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The video is also a direct and offensive attack on the rights of parents to advocate for their children, and the rights of children as declared by the United Nations to have their parents advocate on their behalf.

Talk Radio Network Nonsense

Talk Radio Network shock jock Michael Savage has been rightly vilified for his hateful comments about autistic children calling them "brats, idiots, and morons." What is equally appalling, and equally asinine, is the statement offered up in defense of Mr. Savage by his syndicator Talk Radio Network:

"The network is satisfied that he did not mean any disrespect to autistic children or their families, but was, instead, reiterating his longstanding concerns on public health issues."

How is calling autistic children brats, idiots and morons NOT disrespectful? How is spewing such hateful remarks "reiterating concerns on public health issues"?

Talk Radio Network's defense of Savage is nothing more than cow manure.

All disrespect intended.

Michael Savage Recommended For Dolthood

I haven't said too much about Michael Savage and his ridiculous rant against autistic children and their parents. His comments clearly identified him as a windbag and a blowhard that knows nothing about autism. His attack was so absurd that I did not feel the need to protest or go after his job.

From what I understand Mr. "Savage" has attacked other groups Muslims, gays etc and will undoubtedly find an outlet somewhere in the US talk radio/television hate talk business to spew his hatred.

Having said that I enjoy reading of the loss of advertisers for his program and the protests. Of the many comments about Savage's silly hate spiel though one I enjoyed most is the title and remarks in an article by Dr. Phillip Leveque on Salem-News.com: Autism, Michael Savage and Dolthood.

"(MOLALLA, Ore.) - When I heard this dolt pontificating on television news that Autism was the result of bad parenting, I nearly threw-up. This totally absurd ranting was settled more than 50 years ago."

Sir Michael Savage, Dolt of the NTR, pretty well sums it up.

Autism Hate Talk On The Internet

Autism discussions generate much controversy on the internet. Some of it is inherent in the intense issues confronting people with a variety of similar, yet very different disorders. Some of the controversy degenerates into pure expressions of hatred as set out in the attached post by someone called talheres.

This type of hate commentary and cheap insult is found all too often amongst some ideologically based movements on the internet. The internet offers much in the way of valuable information and an opportunity for rational discussion of difficult issues. Unfortunately it also allows cowardly bigots like this talheres to spew venom to a world wide audience. With all the good the internet brings in the way of enhanced communication, it also brings the occasional blight.

I suppose it is fitting that this person uses a posting symbol of a pussy cat with a rifle.

And speaking of psychiatry-

This is yet another example of why I hate autism 'advocates'

http://autisminnb.blogspot.com/2007/11/autisms-rotenberg-dilemna.html

The complete disregard for the facts of what went on and goes on in that institution disgusts me, but it's not like I can expect much from people who take issue against those who speak out against the mercury militia.

So now I'm that tempted to visit that thing tomorrow, thanks to dipshits like this.
