Not just for autism......Yes, yes, yes and YESSSSS! Not just for autism...multiply severely physically and cognitively challenged kids don't fit well into the mainstream either. Yude Henteleff is my personal hero. I am NOT fond of CL's campaigns in this regard. I am very happy that Conor is getting what he needs.Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13070297384173508509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-60688270712066208932009-10-28T09:47:45.974-03:002009-10-28T09:47:45.974-03:00I'm going to forward this to my FSW from CL. H...I'm going to forward this to my FSW from CL. Her attitude is very much "families first". She's been an FSW for over 25yrs and she's very good at her job. The newsletters I have gotten - I just formally joined a few mths ago, need to start attending the meetings - reflects that attitude.

What our family needs, she works for. Period. I want mine integrated and mainstreamed and that's what she's lobbied and pushed for at every IEP meeting. I wanted IBI, she worked for that. I wanted them gone, she worked for that. I simply need someone to rant at, she comes for a visit and enjoys a cup of coffee for a couple of hours and never makes you feel like your feelings/opinions are not valid nor important.

I have no complaints.

But I will ask her about your post and tell you what she says.farmwifetwohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02680758336779501712noreply@blogger.com
