She uses her blog as a platform for attempting to convince everyone that since she and her husband are strange then the autism in her son must be genetic and since this is so for them then it is a fact for every other autistic child in this world. You just can't change stupid.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-52785823077655171422011-07-13T10:18:08.342-03:002011-07-13T10:18:08.342-03:00astrid: I'm sorry, I had forgotten about this...astrid: I'm sorry, I had forgotten about this. Remember, however, that a lot of these factors have existed for a long time, and therefore cannot explain the increase in autism diagnoses.

By the way, does anyone have any sources on valproic acid causing autism? My mother took that drug when pregnant with me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-71308877028107016522011-07-09T10:49:21.718-03:002011-07-09T10:49:21.718-03:00There is a precedence in lead poisoning.

We've tried, and although I am sure there is much more work to be done, we have failed. It is not a recognizable genetic anomoly.

Chemicals and viruses have already been implicated. We even have a time of exposure in the womb...the first trimester. Now is the time for the hard work.

There has been so much confusion, almost like a tennis match while many throw out ideas of possible etiologies.

We need to begin with what we know. Evironmental pre-natal exposure to certain teratogens DO cause brain damage in children.Usethebrains Godgiveyouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05026223483117357541noreply@blogger.com
