Denial is easier than getting off their asses and actually stop talking about themselves long enough (Estee Klar comes to mind here) to effectively help the kid. If they would just get the hell out of denial and get their kids quality intervention maybe they wouldn't look so ridiculous.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-24409394007140441252009-03-28T12:41:00.000-03:002009-03-28T12:41:00.000-03:00Autism is a new medical keyword that i have heard ...Autism is a new medical keyword that i have heard .I tried to understand how is it an example of neurodiversity denial ?Please if some one can explain me .EMRhttp://www.healthtec-software.com/emr.htmnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-61790249457795550522009-03-28T05:26:00.000-03:002009-03-28T05:26:00.000-03:00ND movement is very small but very vocal. If our kids are actually geniuses and just "different" why help them? they are just being themselves!

what gets me is how people like Leitch and others on autismhub, etc have so much time on their hands. Some of those people claim t be educating their children at home and loving their children, how could they find the time to do so when it seems their lives are spent on the internet.

I have read some of what they say, and their bitterness is very palpable. Very very unhappy people. Misery loves company which is why they stick together.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-28349378646785694392009-03-25T19:58:00.000-03:002009-03-25T19:58:00.000-03:00I am sorry Jonathan, you just hit a nerve for me. ...I am sorry Jonathan, you just hit a nerve for me. Neurodiversity, full inclusion and social models of disability have tremendous influence and have killed my daughter's opportunity to attend school where I live...and that's just one example. It's easier to see the bright side of disability and not deal with the harsh realities. I know parents here are collapsing under the weight and giving their kids up because they can't handle them. I suspected, though, that you were referring to that particular blogger. I actually do have a well developed sense of humour...caught me on an off day!Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13070297384173508509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-3756908588721607472009-03-25T19:09:00.000-03:002009-03-25T19:09:00.000-03:00Hi Claire, I am not sure what the CBC is, I think ...Hi Claire, I am not sure what the CBC is, I think that is some canadian television network. I am in the United States so I have never seen it. They sure don't have any influence here as far as I can tell, hardly anyone interested in autism has even heard of them. If they have influence in Canada I am sorry to hear that. It was Kevin who reacted to harold, he is a blogger who I don't think has much influence at all, nor his minions.jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14972394536850151087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-2825101278095168682009-03-25T17:51:00.000-03:002009-03-25T17:51:00.000-03:00Well, Jonathan, I am glad it's funny, but if you w...Well, Jonathan, I am glad it's funny, but if you watch enough CBC, autism is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I have also seen too much of this stuff all over the net, on big websites, complete with happy smiling autistics dancing into the sunset. Finally, in disability language in general, Happy happy joy joy is in...the only problem with disability is the rest of us who aren't disabled.Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13070297384173508509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-28389697229594059632009-03-25T14:14:00.000-03:002009-03-25T14:14:00.000-03:00Harold, you know you are doing something right whe...Harold, you know you are doing something right when people in positions of influence start to vilify you

Neurodiversity proponents have positions of influence. They'd rather work at banning words and shun those with issues.

Violent Autism behaviour is common... it's one of the reason's I will never allow my youngest to be put in one of those segregated classrooms... the stories of abuse on teachers and EA's are frightening and he doesn't ever need to be with those "autistics".farmwifetwohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02680758336779501712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33052404.post-37324049068544574272009-03-25T09:32:00.000-03:002009-03-25T09:32:00.000-03:00Harold, you know you are doing something right whe...Harold, you know you are doing something right when people in positions of influence start to vilify you.
