As a parent of a very severely a...I love your blog.<br />As a parent of a very severely affected 10 ys old I completely understand and share your frustration regarding how under researched and under served over children are.<br />I am concerned that these MRI studies are exceedingly expensive and ignore the biomedical cause and effect of severe autism- which is most likely not genetic in origin. My son, maybe your too, was a normal baby and then he suffered a traumatic brain injury. <br />I would like to see independent researchers working w/ parents designing and undertaking studies of our kids. Most of all I am so tired of academics spending all our research $ on genes/ brains yet failing to focus on any of these resources on the biomedical needs of our kids- below the neck.<br />Thank you so much for your attention to this population of severely affected kids!Katie Wrightnoreply@blogger.com
